Moscow Exchange starts calculating Russian cut diamond indices

MOSCOW, Dec 27 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Exchange has started weekly calculation of indices of the Russian market of cut diamonds, the bourse said in a statement on Wednesday.

"On December 27, 2023, the Moscow Exchange has started calculating and publishing new indicators: composite indices of the cut diamond set and indices of investment diamonds. Data for the calculation will be collected from the leading participants of the Russian cut diamond market," the Moscow Exchange said.

The diamond set and the investment diamond indices will be calculated in rubles and U.S. dollars. Historical data is available since September 29, 2022.
